NSPS LTD Trust Agreement

The Province of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Government Employees Union established the Nova Scotia Public Service Long Term Disability Plan Trust in 1985.  A new Trust Agreement was made between the two plan sponsors when the Trust was reconstituted on November 10, 2004. 

The purpose of the Trust is to hold and receive monies into the Fund, that will maintain and continue the NSPS LTD Plan Trust Fund.  The monies shall be used exclusively for the purpose of providing long-term disability and ancilliary benefits in accordance with the terms of the Plan.
